Mike Ward Associates is led by Mike Ward, a Chartered Management Accountant with over 20 years experience specialising in small and medium size enterprises (SMEs).

Mike has worked as both a Group and Company Finance Director, and is experienced in operating and managing all areas of finance. He has experience is several sectors including Import, Export & UK Distribution, Business Process Outsourcing, Contact Centres, Catering, Residential and Commercial Property and Public Transport.

Mike qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 1988 having trained and worked for 5 years in a manufacturing environment, and in 2007 was elected a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), having achieved the necessary senior and strategic financial management experience.

Mike has also worked in operational and other non-finance roles and appreciates the pressures on all aspects of a business.

Mike firmly believes in empowering owner managed businesses to make commercial decisions based on timely and accurate financial information, and providing owners with the specialist financial skills that they may not have previously recognised the need for.
